Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and GetShortifyAI.com governing your access to and use of the resume scoring and optimisation platform at getshortifyai.com and all related services (the "Service").

By creating an account, uploading a resume, or making a payment you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms are governed by the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 of India. Continued use after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

GetShortifyAI.com provides an AI-powered platform that analyses uploaded resumes and produces scores, keyword gap reports, formatting suggestions, and AI-generated content rewrites (collectively, "Analysis Output"). The Service includes:

• ATS compatibility scoring based on resume content and structure
• Keyword gap analysis against job descriptions provided by the user
• AI-powered bullet point and summary rewriting suggestions
• Cover letter and cold outreach email generation (paid tiers)
• Score history, progress tracking, and downloadable PDF reports (paid tiers)
• LinkedIn headline optimisation and interview probability scoring (paid tiers)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time with reasonable prior notice. We are not liable for any such changes.

To use the Service you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under Indian law
• Not be barred from using the Service under any applicable law or regulation
• Access the Service for personal, non-commercial use (unless on the Growth Partner plan)
• Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account

If accessing on behalf of an organisation, you warrant you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. We may terminate accounts that violate these requirements at our sole discretion.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload resumes belonging to others without their explicit written consent
• Use the Service to generate false, misleading, or fraudulent resume content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the Service without prior written consent
• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or any malicious code
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Attempt to circumvent access controls, rate limits, or subscription restrictions
• Use the Service in any manner that damages, disables, or impairs our infrastructure

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund and, where applicable, legal action.

All payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. By paying you also agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service.

All prices are inclusive of applicable GST. Digital invoices are sent to your registered email address.

Refund Policy

• Weekend Warrior (₹199): No refunds once the 48-hour access window is activated.
• Pro Hunter (₹699/month): No refunds for the current billing period. Cancel before renewal to avoid future charges.
• Growth Partner (₹2,999/month): Refund requests within 48 hours of initial purchase considered case-by-case. Email legal@getshortifyai.com.
• If a technical error on our part blocks access to a paid feature, we will issue a pro-rata credit or refund at our discretion.

Cancellation

Cancel any recurring subscription via your account settings or by emailing legal@getshortifyai.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fees apply.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of your resume content, job descriptions, and any other materials you upload ("User Content"). By uploading, you grant GetShortifyAI.com a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your content solely to provide the Service. We do not use your resume to train AI models without your explicit separate consent.

Our Platform

All intellectual property in the Service — platform design, scoring algorithms, AI prompts, UI components, branding, and software — is owned exclusively by GetShortifyAI.com and protected under Indian and international IP law.

• You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works of any part of the Service
• You may not use our trademarks or brand assets without prior written permission
• Score reports are licensed for your personal use only and may not be resold

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages from your use of the Service
• We are not liable for losses arising from reliance on AI-generated Analysis Output
• We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)

Liability Cap: Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to GetShortifyAI.com in the 30 days immediately preceding the claim, or ₹500, whichever is greater.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
